Guides are rewritten rather than left to rot. Standards change, materials are discontinued, and prices move, and a guide that has not kept up is actively misleading rather than merely stale.

How to Choose a Firm

The usual checks are still the ones that matter. Verify licensing and insurance directly with the issuing body, get at least three written quotes, and ask each firm for recent local work you can look at.
